In these works, sculpture becomes a living expression: a material that speaks of memory, light, wounds, and transformation. These Artistic Expressions arise from the need to give form to what often remains invisible, exploring different perspectives on matter and the mark. Each expression has its own dedicated page, designed to explore its poetics, crafting techniques, and the creative journey that defines its identity. FRAGMENTS
The technique is based on the use of copper fragments that are generally regular.
After duplicating the original model made of clay, a duplicate is cast using a material that is refractory to heat but resistant enough to support the hammering required to adapt each individual copper plate.
The individual plates are then placed onto the refractory reproduction of the original model, adapted with a hammer, and, after being heated, welded to one another. In this way, the human figure, the face, or other subjects are reconstructed.
The correct relationship between the fullness determined by the plates and the emptiness left between them is crucial.
  SCULPTED
A solid body, born from the secret harmony of different substances, where cold meets warmth, the rough yields to the smooth, and every angle or surface speaks an idiom that only form can comprehend.
My solid works are therefore sculptures closer to the traditional practice of sculpting. They can be crafted from various materials, ranging from metal to patinated clay.
FILIGREES
This technique is an original invention of mine, allowing the creation of sculptures while keeping the different metals physically separated.
These partial sculptures are crafted using a method derived from lost-wax casting. However, unlike classic casting, the metals that make up the molten pour remain distinct and separated even after solidification.
This is achieved through a technical process I personally devised and perfected. The resulting sculpture is composed of pure copper, silver, brass, and bronze, subsequently finished with patinas and chemical agents.
ENLIGHTENED
The Enlightened are not simply lit sculptures.
They are artworks that remain incomplete without the
presence of the viewer who welcomes them.
Light does not serve to show them: it serves to complete them.
Each sculpture treasures its own light source,
an active heart that makes the form changing, unstable, alive.
The artwork changes with the intensity of the light, with the direction of the spotlights, and with the color chosen by those who experience it.
The sculpted matter is no longer definitive: it becomes a possibility. The artist does not impose a single vision. He invites a dialogue.
In this sense, the Enlightened speak of the deep
relationship between form and consciousness.
Light does not only reveal the artwork: it reveals the gaze of the observer.
Every luminous configuration is a silent conversation
between the artist and the owner of the artwork.
