POLYARCHOS

Portrait of a man’s personality

This form is not born to tell of what is concluded,
but of what continues to be born.
It is dedicated to those who live within the movement of the idea,
to those who see possibilities where others see boundaries,
to those who open paths even before knowing where they lead.
Within this matter, multiple directions coexist,
just as within your thought:
some meet, others graze each other,
others remain waiting.
It is not a lack of completion,
but an abundance of beginnings.
The light that traverses it does not seek a center,
because the center is never still.
It changes, it shifts, it returns.
Like the projects that inhabit your mind.
This sculpture does not ask to be finished.
It asks to be accompanied.
Every time the light changes,
the form begins anew.
May it remind you
that true strength lies not only in bringing to fruition,
but in generating,
in keeping open,
in never ceasing to imagine.

POLYARCHOSGALLERY

THE PROJECT AND THE STUDY
This sculpture does not represent what is finished, but what continuously takes shape.

POLYARCHOS is the form of a thought that never stops beginning.

EXTERNAL MULTIPLICITY
The form – how this personality “manifests itself”:
An unclosed face in a state of tension.
• A broad forehead, acting as a space for projects
• Open parts, slits, discontinuities
• No dominant central axis, but rather broken angles
A face that begins more than it ends.

INTERNAL MULTIPLICITY
To represent the polyhedric intelligence and energy:

• Multiple gears, yet unsynchronized
• Mechanisms suggesting different directions
• Potential, unblocked rotations

Not a single engine, but a constellation of motions.

CONTROLLED ASYMMETRY
• The solid structure
• the matter must “hold up”
Yet, the asymmetry tells a story of:
• Initiative
• Risk
• Vision
A stability that harbors restlessness.

THE DYNAMICS OF LIGHT
Its way of existing
Light is fundamental to conveying character. Modulable, non-fixed light

• Variable intensity
• Different chromatisms
• Not a single personality, not one direction, but many simultaneous possibilities.

EXPRESSIONIN WORKPOLYARCHOSENLIGHTENED

The Enlightened are not simply lit sculptures.
They are artworks that remain incomplete without the
presence of the viewer who welcomes them.
Light does not serve to show them: it serves to complete them.
Each sculpture treasures its own light source,
an active heart that makes the form changing, unstable, alive.

The artwork changes with the intensity of the light, with the direction of the spotlights, and with the color chosen by those who experience it.
The sculpted matter is no longer definitive: it becomes a possibility. The artist does not impose a single vision. He invites a dialogue.

In this sense, the Enlightened speak of the deep
relationship between form and consciousness.
Light does not only reveal the artwork: it reveals the gaze of the observer.
Every luminous configuration is a silent conversation
between the artist and the owner of the artwork.
