The face is at the center of my work. I consider it the mirror and the canvas of the soul: a place where identity, memory, and emotions become visible. Faces tell the story of life; they carry within them the beauty and the torment of each of us. They are our passport.
The artwork is born like this:
like a breath held in for too long, like a wound that decides to turn into light.
It is not creation, it is transmigration: the soul shifts, pours itself out, leaves the body to inhabit a form.
And in that form, it remains.
